Connecting to the OKX Exchange
To start trading on OKX through GinArea, you need to create and connect an API key.
Step 1: Creating an API Key
Go to the API key creation page on OKX: Create API
Click “Create API” and set the following parameters:
Name — Choose any name for your API key (e.g., "GinArea");
Purpose — Select “Linking a third-party application”;
Application Name — Ginarea;
Permissions — Select “Trade” to allow the bot to execute trades;
Passphrase — Create a custom phrase. You’ll need this when connecting your API key on the GinArea website.
Step 2: Connecting the API Key to GinArea
After creating your API key on OKX, go to the “Exchanges” tab on the GinArea website.
Paste all the required information from your API key, including the Key, Secret, and Passphrase.
If the connection is successful, the connected permissions will be displayed.
Additional Information
You can also connect your API key using the OKX mobile app. The connection logic and steps are exactly the same as on the desktop version of the site.

API keys created for GinArea are permanent and do not require renewal.
Exchange permissions largely depend on the documents used during KYC verification. For more details, please refer directly to the exchange and review the laws of the country that issued your documents.
