API Key-Related Errors

These errors occur when the bot cannot access the exchange using the provided API key. Causes may range from incorrect permissions to expired or unsupported keys.

  • Api-key is invalid The API key is incorrect. Check that the key was entered correctly and that exchange settings meet all requirements. You may need to generate a new key. Also, make sure your account is not a Master Trader on Bybit or Lead Trader on OKX.

  • Api-key is expired The key has expired. Generate a new API key on the exchange (Bybit | OKX) and update it at: https://ginarea.org/exchanges

  • Api-key is invalid ips Your key is restricted by IP settings. Update your API key to non-expiring (permanent) as per our instructions (Bybit | OKX).

  • Api-key is readonly The API key has read-only permissions, which prevents trading operations. Create a new key with Trade and Asset Management permissions.

  • Api-key is low permissions The key lacks sufficient permissions for trading. Ensure all required permissions are enabled.

  • Api-key is unmatched ip The key is being used from an unauthorized IP address. Generate a new API key on the exchange (Bybit | OKX) and update it at: https://ginarea.org/exchanges

  • Api-key is master trader This key belongs to a Master Trader (Bybit) or Lead Trader (OKX) account, which cannot be used with our service. Please use a key from a subaccount or a regular personal account.
